The Lunar New Year is the most significant event of the year for people in China, as well as many other countries in South East Aisa, and celebrations are held worldwide.

Due to the COVID-19 lockdown, we will not be involved in our usual activities, celebrating with Lancaster's Chinese societies. However, our staff are still hard at work, providing activities for everyone to enjoy.

On 11th February, members of our team held an online event, with presentations and quizzes for people to learn about the New Year, the Zodiac, and provided a video session on how to make Chinese Dumplings. In addition, we would like everyone to enjoy this video message, created by Jane She, a member of our team at Anchorsholme Academy.

We hope you all have an enjoyable and memorable Lunar New Year, and we hope everyone stays safe and well!
