Our Open Mic & Jam event on Wednesday 19 November is open to anyone willing to participate, whether you are a singer, poet, comedian, or a storyteller - come and join this creative platform and share your craft with us

Open mic, short for “open microphone,” refers to events where people can showcase their talents in front of a live audience. These events are open to anyone willing to participate, whether they’re singers, poets, comedians, or storytellers.

Open mic nights create a platform for both amateurs and those who may class themselves as 'professional' to share their craft. It’s a space where creativity meets spontaneity. The open mic meaning is rooted in the idea of inclusivity, giving everyone an equal opportunity to perform.

We would welcome anyone to join this informal event - especially singers and musicians, comedians, poets and writers, storytellers and other artists.

Try new materials, connect with others, 'jam-together', and show some support to performers and newcomers alike who are willing to perform without judgement in our supportive environment.

A microphone and sound system will be available and we ask that sessions last no more than 20-30 minutes.

The event starts at 7pm in Trevor Bar on Wednesday 19 November - all are very welcome, even if you are not performing, come along to encourage and support our community and enjoy a unique experience as every Open Mic and Jam night is different!
