Attendance Check-in for staff

Attendance check-in system enabling staff to support the minority of students who aren't able to check in for themselves.

Check-in system for teaching staff and departmental administrators

Undergraduates and taught postgraduates on Bailrigg campus register their attendance at timetabled teaching sessions by clicking a button in the iLancaster 'Academic Hub' to check in via their mobile device or laptop.

To support the minority of students who aren't able to check-in there are 'Attendance Centre' views of the check-in system for teaching staff and for departmental administrators.

New 'Invalidate' feature

If students check in to class without entering the room, so the number checked in does not match the number who are actually there, this feature enables you to remove (invalidate) all check-ins for the class, then invite the students who are present to check in again. Students who were previously registered as present but don't check in again will receive an automated email from the Registry.
