Students on Bailrigg campus register their attendance at timetabled teaching sessions by clicking a button in the iLancaster 'Attendance Hub' to check in via their mobile device or laptop.
Please advise your students to click the button in iLancaster to check in (the majority will be able to) and also to confirm that their check-in has been successful.
To support the minority of students who aren't able to check-in there are 'Attendance Centre' views of the check-in system for teaching staff and for departmental administrators.
- Use the iLancaster app on a moblie device (you'll need the most up-to-date version of iLancaster) - get iLancaster; or
- Use iLancaster on a desktop computer or laptop - go to Attendance Centre. If you're using a teaching room computer, you'll see a shortcut icon to the staff Attendance Check-in system on the computer desktop when you log in.
- To provide advice for your students at the start of sessions (particularly at start of year induction sessions), incorporate this Attendance Check-in PowerPoint slide into your presentations.
- Use a desktop computer or laptop via the web. To be granted access to the Attendance Centre you'll need to make a request to Jo Malbon, Undergraduate Retention and Progression Adviser in Student Registry.
Technical issues for staff Attendance Check-in can be reported via the ISS Service Desk.
