Research Overview

I am particularly interested in and have been researching for some time the career trajectories of early career researchers in and beyond the academy, with particular attention to how work-related decisions are embedded within the rest-of-life. Recently, I have been examining the nature of mobility within and across labour sectors and organizations. Since this research, conducted laregly but not exclusively in the UK, Europe and Canada, has personal, pedagogical and policy implications, I often have the opportunity to give presentations and workshops.
