As part of FST Research Event Series, we are organising a few sessions on Academics on Twitter. The first session will be run on the 12th of December in Bowland North, Seminar Room 07, by Professor Elena Semino. Professor Semino is a linguist whose research involves stylistics and metaphor theory whose most recent work focused on medical humanities and health communication. This session will consist of Professor Semino sharing and reflecting on her experience of using social media and in particular, Twitter for research, followed by QA.
