A Lancaster University professor is to give a free online lecture outlining proposals for a tidal barrage across Morecambe Bay.

Professor George Aggidis, a world-leading expert in tidal energy, will deliver a virtual ‘technical lecture’ for the Institute of Mechanical Engineers on a range of aspects relating to a tidal barrage in Morecambe Bay – including the environment, climate, green jobs, travel infrastructure, as well as health and wellbeing.

The lecture will also cover relevant aspects of Professor Aggidis' research on Tidal Energy at Lancaster University.
