WorldLabs Elevating Ideas Competition

WorldLabs’ aim is to help ideas develop and grow by providing the funding, tools and connections needed. To celebrate the launch of their platform they are holding a competition that will award £50k to the most innovative idea from any field! The top 10 applicants will have the opportunity to pitch at a large startup conference in October. The competition is a great opportunity to gain publicity, valuable connections and an opportunity to work on and grow your idea through the platform.

Win £1000 with NBI competition

Northern Biotech Consulting Case Competition

Applications are sought for NBI Northern Biotech Consulting Case Competition; entries close Sun 22nd May.

The competition aims to bring together students and professionals from a range of multidisciplinary backgrounds to focus on consulting and biotechnology. Acting as consulting firms, teams will present a recommendation to a panel of expert judges on which startup a large biotechnology company should acquire to increase its portfolio.

On Sun 29th May, shortlisted teams will be given profiles of several companies containing information regarding IP, product portfolio and clinical trial data. You’ll then be asked to consider the companies before make a recommendation regarding a deal between the client and the potential case companies. You’ll have one month to prepare your thoughts before the main competition day on Sat 25th June.

Winning teams will be awarded a £1000 cash prize.

Teams of 3 to 5 postgraduate students are encouraged to apply. Register your interest by ordering an Eventbrite ticket, form your team, and submit your CVs with a short cover letter on why your consultancy team should take part.
