LUMS Space Programme

Lancaster University Management School is embarking on an ambitious infrastructure programme, creating cutting-edge facilities and significantly more space for our students, staff and partners.

Creating the place to be

Construction is well underway on a new five-storey development project to create a world-class addition to the Management School's facilities. Opening 2020.

Creating the place for collaboration

The new 5667m2 building will introduce a number of key areas to compliment the existing facilities available to Management School students and academics including: 

  • Two new 200 seat lecture theatres
  • One 125 seat leacture theatre
  • A mixture of collaboration spaces 
  • A new executive teaching suite
  • 3 floors of offices to accommodate two LUMS departments
  • A brand new reception area

Construction updates

Work has started on the construction of a multi-million pound building for Lancaster University Management School (LUMS). The new five storey building will be a fantastic addition to the current LUMS buildings offering cutting-edge facilities and significantly more space for LUMS students, staff and partners. Currently referred to as the ‘West Pavilion’, the new building will be located on the grassed area next to the LUMS main entrance and Gillow Avenue.
