The construction of the steel frame completed last week on the new 400 seat lecture theatre between FASS and the Chemistry building.

As the new structure is connected to the existing FASS building, contractors are set to close the pathway leading from John Creed Avenue to the North Spine for the duration of the project. The next step of the project will see concrete floor panels installed and the roof fitted, ready for the external walls to be erected.

The project is progressing on plan and will be open ahead of the 2020/21 academic year.
