The University’s already award-winning student accommodation has been nominated six times in the 2019 National Student Housing Awards (NSHA).

After 33,000 students voiced their opinions in the NHSA national survey, Lancaster has been chosen as one of the five finalists in each of the following categories:

  • Best University Halls
  • Best Customer Service
  • Best Value for Money
  • Best Student Wellbeing
  • Best Booking Experience
  • Best Specialist Accommodation

Over the last three years, Lancaster has won six NSHA awards, including Best Individual Accommodation for Grizedale Townhouses in 2018.

Speaking about this year’s nomination, Candace Davies, Head of Accommodation said:

“These nominations are testament to our fantastic staff that work together to deliver the best accommodation for our students.

“We really appreciate the time that our students have taken to give us feedback by completing this survey, it is vital information that keeps us in touch with what our students want from their time living on campus.”
