  • Stagecoach Celebrates 100 Years of Service

    This year marks the centenary of the Ribble Motor Services Ltd, one of the predecessors of Stagecoach Cumbria and North Lancashire. To mark the occasion Stagecoach are hosting a year of celebrations, and to launch this, from Sunday 14th April, are renaming the current 2 Service to Route 100 in celebration of the 100 years.

  • Disruption to the A6 expected as Electricity Northwest divert utilities.

    Scotforth Road on the A6 will be reduced to one lane between the 18th and 22nd February as Electricity Northwest carry out diversion works to the utility services in support of the new Health Innovation Campus.

  • 58 additional parking spaces to be added in the New Year.

    Contractors will begin creating the additional spaces over a 4-week period, starting on Monday 7th January 2019.

  • Changes to Car Parking to Benefit Staff

    Following the completion of the Spine Refurbishment Project, parking on John Creed Avenue (Visitor Car Park C) has recently reopened.

  • Stagecoach Bus Service Changes as Greyhound Bridge Prepares to Re-open

    Stagecoach introduce new timetables to improve services following the reopening of Greyhound bridge on Sunday 7th October.

  • Travel Notice for Sunday 9th September

    The Sports Centre will be hosting the Lancaster University Triathlon on Sunday 9th September. Due to the size of the event, there will be restricted access to movement of vehicles on campus.

  • Resurfacing Works at Alexandra Park Drive Junction Complete

    Stagecoach have confirmed that normal bus services have now resumed following the improvement works that were made to the junction at Alexandra Park Drive.

  • M6 Travel Disruption

    Following on from the recent bridge strike on the M6 Southbound between junction 33-32, a semi-permanent repair is to be carried out overnight on Tuesday and Wednesday this week.
