Between Thursday 11th July and Thursday 25th July an accessible dog toilet facility will be installed near County residences for those on campus requiring an assistant dog.
Closures are in place as phased construction works around Edward Roberts Court commence.
Following advice from an independent ecologist, a section of hedge on campus has now been removed. The hedge was located on the A6 where the main junction for the Health Innovation Campus (HIC) will be created.
The construction element of the Edward Roberts Court Remodelling Project is set to commence from Sunday 30th June. The programme is scheduled to complete by the end of this year.
Work to start on hedgerow removal
Works are currently being undertaken to the central reservation along the Main Drive of the University in order to improve the long term overall standard of maintenance to the area.
We are aware that there are concerns over the use of netting to a hedgerow which was installed in advance of the new junction to the Health Innovation Campus being created from the A6. We are looking into the condition of the netting as a priority and ensuring any holes are repaired.
Resurfacing works to the rear of University House, adjacent to the Base and Disability Services are scheduled to recommence over the weekend of 6th - 7th April.
The main entrance to InfoLab will close from Tuesday 23rd April whilst replacement doors are installed. The building will remain open with a temporary diversion in place until the 6th May.
New services will be installed to provide utilities and data to the new Health Innovation Campus (HIC) between 18th February - Mid-June 2019.
