NEWS AND EVENTS ARCHIVE (2009-2014)

German Film Club proudly presents....

Date: 21 May 2008 Time: 4.30 p.m.

2 films made by students in Bowland North Small Lecture Theatre

Zugvögel: A tale of 3 German students and their first impressions of England. Follow their race for time to get to their destination (with many problems thrown in along the way).

Alice im Bundesland: A satirical take on the old tale. Alice's journey takes her to the famous Oktoberfest where she meets some interesting characters.

Come and support your fellow students at the exciting premiere of German Film Club's latest project. The films we will be showing were made entirely by DELC students and you will recognise some familiar faces starring in them! This is the first year the project has run so come down and see for yourself, meeting others from the university for an afternoon of entertainment.

Subtitles are provided and the films are roughly 15 minutes in length.

Whether you study languages or not, this project will be of interest to everyone because it is a great way to meet people and socialise while it demonstrates how your learning can be used for additional projects to enhance your CV in a fun environment. Come and see the films and learn about the project and share the celebration of the finished results from this year's participants.
