Introduction
Computers can be all sorts of things. For example: Robots, The ones we commonly know, Kitchen devices like washing up machines, Toasters, Grills etc…
We use Computers like calculators to help us with our every day life.
They store information up for us instead of having piles of papers on things like desks, tables, chairs and even the floor!
Also they are sometimes neater than just our own handwriting. They give us fun and pleasure. That is better than trying to get your older brothers or sisters to play with you.

Waiting
You are only able to move the egg-timer around. You cannot <figure> with it or do anything else.
If you have it on for a long time the whole screen will make a pattern of <reg>its</reg> own. If you move the mouse at all it will come back on to what you had there before.
If you are waiting for something to appear and there is the egg-timer if you have a sound blaster you could put that on.

About Computers
Computers are like desk tidies. If you delete a <reg>program</reg> the computer will tell itself that it <reg>hasn’t</reg> got what you just deleted. But it does really have it. Silicon chips and Micro chips are the same.
They take a very important part in the making of a computer. Lots of information can be stored on a small silicon chip. When you store it like that <sic>they</sic> are called bubble memories.
With the computer you should get a book all about it. You have to clean (wipe) it with an anti-static cloth.

Entertainment and Games
Solitaire and Freecall are both card games. Even though they are completely different. So if you buy a card game BEWARE read carefully to see if you really want it. Some games have an age limit just like videos. You get loads of games from C.D.’s. <figure>
You can get info., mystery and games like you usual ones. You can get even more than the ones that I have just mentioned.
If your mum or dad say you spend <reg>too</reg> much time on the computer playing games you can just say that you’ll play your information ones for a while. Win. Risk is an army game. You have to wait for luck unless you cheat by being all the players! <figure>
Winmine is a game where you <figure> where the mine isn’t or is. The numbers tell you how many mines there are around it. <figure>
You <figure> the right hand button for mine.
You <figure> the left hand button for <sic>none</sic>-mine.
