The house on small piazzetta on market place
at the Rialto has 6 at and 4 det. on its
third story. on second above [entresol?] of the
well formed and pure arch fig 1. above with
[diagram]: on L  shafts with plain leaf
bases: standing on the boldest
example of the simple cornice leaf plinth
with one dentil which I have seen.
The balconies are formed by solid blocks between
the shafts with enormous early roses: perhaps
however later than the shafts. or windows:

Among the Byzantine fragments along Riva
del Carbon.beside the leaf cornices. note
the angle of a house . No 4640. now whitewashed
sculptures defaced.
