in the curled lobes of the larger
[diagram] c leaves in upper plinth, the rib is shown
in the recess, section b 2.
but in the smaller leaves below recessed

But there is a lovely variety in these.
leaves so that they cannot be [?]
nor are they any leaf in particular
- for the stem of the rose which is
always double

seaweedy kind of
structure out of
the leaf & yet is
felt under it
afterwards. Thus
