                                                                      	      bits of a hypothetical
                                                                      continuation of the tracery, cut off by
                                                                      the archivolt tracery -a most singular system
                                                                      running through all Venice. But at C. though
                                                                      the lower member of the 4 foil is large enough
                                                                      to have a cut through it by law of the
                                                                      tracery - it is left filled up. as too small to
                                                                      be pierced - (Perhaps this a piece of restoration)
