                                                                      		applying the paper to it.  These capitals are perhaps the
                                                                      		best of the set beginning with the window c. Their
                                                                      		heads still very barbarous;  but better, and their
                                                                      		leafage very good:  the abacus always [diagram]: the
                                                                      		bases gone: the mark of the old
                                                                      		tracery clear along the soffit of both windows: which
                                                                      		give light to a little room, once the archivio;  now utterly
                                                                      		without furniture & whitewashed.

                                                                      		with four Evangelists - two fine doors;  another door
                                                                      		in alley close to it;  another of brick turning to the

                                                                      		the first early pure lancet trefoil I have found in Venice
                                                                      		as opposite.)
                                                                      Balcony		Next to the window i, which now opens into Mr Lorcenzo’s
                                                                      to piazzetta	room; comes the centre with balcony; and this with
                                                                      		windows k. l. m. n. is described in No 78.
                                                                      		- the last note, scralwed on that paper, is of the best
                                                                      		discovery I made to-day. Saturday 22nd December
                                                                      		- of the window, o in plan on last page, which opens
                                                                      		from the smaller saloon behind the Porta Della
