                                                                      	7.  The truly florid capital of all palaces:
                                                                      	Now I am more at a loss about early examples of this than
                                                                      any that I have:  It seems to me that the Pisan - or
                                                                      Monkish sculptors of Frari, &c - introduced the curious
                                                                      double wreathed Italian Gothic very early this I shall
                                                                      see in Frari, &c:  but when was it first taken up and put
                                                                      in the palaces.
                                                                      Stay, I have missed two important steps.
                                                                      7. A.   The wreathed capitals of cloister of Abbazia,
                                                                      San Gregorio.
                                                                      8.  The Spray leaved capitals, of same, at Door.-  Com-
                                                                      pare those of the Sorvi.
