No 79, 80, 81. CAMPIELLO ST ROCCO
1. i and the restored window side above it. The final
restorations or destructions cannot be called a period at
all - which destroyed the windows - c - f &c and added
the plinth to i.
But, again - I have a great independent period; that of
the three old sides of the interior court, of its windows
with travery above - and of the 3rd order windows - (p
83 and 84 above)
These windows of the upper part of the cortile I also
examined to-day: 22nd Decem Their traceries are drawn
on No 79 and their sections given on the back of No 78.
No 81. In the little Campanille St Rocco, which is entered by
Early windows a sotto portice opposite the apse of the Frari, is this
most interesting tier of four windows: one shaft of stone
with the simply truncated head - of profile a opposite and
plan b or at least b properly rounded and frou pilasters
whose heads are defaced - but they have had brick abaci
of the section c. opposite and a fragment of a stone
plinth remains below of same section. It is very curious
that the round brick fork at the top andbase of the winp
dows is as far as I could see, cast in on[j]e piece, it is
very singular to see the system of masonry thus
