in imitative sculpture: The love of surface tracery has
much to do with it - for exactly the same thing is done
with the veins of the figure, which are almost painfully
distinct The type of form about the chest, unless
intended for the contracted form of an old man, is very
weak and poor: miserable if compared with Greek types:
