                                                                         at the base
                                                                         they are 1  “  11. apart
                                                                         halfway up.  The wall behind
                                                                         them is 4  “  4 across.
                                                                         and the great plinth 2 in wider
                                                                         on each side.  The st clockward
                                                                       shaft is an inch farther in from
                                                                      plinth than the other from the
                                                                         sea ward.
