There are almost 32 dogt red
These are two such round. and leaves
fillings - but the other white
has a flanked dentil
instead of dogt about 32 dogt round

peculiarly bold & fine.
- quite ancient in their
character. The bases
are all simple and fine -
pure filleted leaves. as in
the early ones of the outer upper arcade.
- the balustrades pure and fine: the capital
leaves deeply and angularly incised, rarely
ribbed and
on the whole - being like those of 2nd order. A. in
lower arcade. especially the 22nd and 14th.
The angle pier counted as 1. is the
commencement of the fine series. they [seem?]
along the extremity of the cortile only: those
on the piazzetta side are a series of
Bon imitations.
