     I prefer saying  .  <the sensation> "that it is not what it seems to be . to
     		saying "that it seems to be what it is not."  because we perceive at once
     what it seems to be - and the idea of imitation - & the consequent pleasure
 5   result from the subsequent perception of its being something else - flat
