William Finden (1787-1852). Engraver. His first work with Turner consisted of two plates for Byron's Life and Works (1832-34). His other engraved work after Turner is confined almost entirely to Finden's Landscape Illustrations of the Bible (1836), many of whose plates were also engraved by his brother, E. Finden. Like his brother, he was not one of Turner's regular 'school' of engravers (see Turner's engravings).
