Drawn and etched by Turner. Engraved in mezzotint by Charles Turner. No inscribed date, but published in 1807 in Part 1 of the Liber Studiorum ( Finberg 5). Category: Architectural. (See Forrester, p.51.)

An impression of this plate was included in the Oxford Rudimentary Series, in the catalogue of which (1878) Ruskin comments that 'when I want to go to Switzerland myself, I am content to take out this picture and read, with it at my side, the Tour de Jacob' ( Works, 21.220).
