Dawe

Henry Edward Dawe (1790-1848). Painter and mezzotint engraver. He engraved work after a wide range of artists including paintings of his own. He engraved four of the published plates of Turner 's Liber Studiorum, and several unpublished plates from the same series. The etched work for a few of the Liber plates is attributed to him.
