Roger Garside has held this position since September 1999. He has taken responsibility for all programming for the electronic edition. The suite of programs checks the material supplied by the editorial team, and generates the HTML pages and images which appear in the electronic edition. This has additionally required a significant involvement in the editorial process, to ensure that the manual and automatic processes dovetail appropriately.
