Stephen Wildman has been Curator of the Ruskin Library since its establishment at Lancaster University in 1996. His publications have chiefly been on British watercolours and the Pre-Raphaelites; he organised the 1998 international centenary exhibition of Edward Burne-Jones, and was co-author of the catalogue to the Tate Gallery exhibition Ruskin, Turner and the Pre-Raphaelites in 2000.
