During the preparation of the Library Edition of The Works of John Ruskin (see Cook and Wedderburn), Alexander Wedderburn prepared what he called a 'transcript'. This is housed in the Ruskin Library, Lancaster, and consists of a hand-corrected typescript of 66 pages bound in maroon boards. It is reasonably accurate, although some of the errors of transcription indicate that Wedderburn did not return to the original when checking the typescript against his handwritten version. The transcription made for this digital edition was made separately from Wedderburn's and the two were then compared.
