Vilhjálmur Árnason

Vilhjálmur Árnason is a Professor of Philosophy and Chair of the Centre for Ethics, University of Iceland, Reykjavik, Iceland.

He is co-ordinator of the research network "The Ethics of Genetic and Medical Information" funded by Nordic Research Academy (NorFA), and recently was co-ordinator of the bioethics research project ELSAGEN: Ethical, Legal and Social Aspects of Human Genetic Databases. A European Comparison. Fundud by EC. He is also a member of the Editorial Team of Medicine, Health Care and Philosophy.
