Celia Roberts

Celia Roberts is a lecturer in the Department of Sociology, Lancaster University. Working within qualitative social research and feminist science studies, she has undertaken research in the areas of the new genetics and reproductive technologies (preimplantation genetic diagnosis), HIV/AIDS and sexuality, breast cancer and endocrinology. She is currently writing a book entitled Messengers of Sex: Hormones, biomedicine and feminism, forthcoming with Cambridge University Press.
