Richard Twine

Dr. Richard Twine is a Sociologist with the Centre for Economic and Social Aspects of Genomics and also the Institute for Environment, Philosophy and Public Policy at Lancaster University, UK.

Richard teaches a graduate-level course in Animals, Ethics and Biotechnology. His research is on the social and ethical aspects of biotechnology, especially as they pertain to human/animal relations.

Richard helped co-found Genomics, Society and Policy and is the Associate Editor. He has written on subjects as broad as bioethics, phrenology, stem cell research, and ecofeminism. You can find out more about his work from his web-site www.richardtwine.com.
