Publicity

Rather than recycle images that have been used in various literacy campaigns, we developed a project logo based upon the concept of "Changing Faces". The logo was used on our headed notepaper, compliment slips and website and gives the project a recognisable image. Publicity about the project was sent to NIACE/Adults Learning, other journals and newsletters, RaPAL and NATECLA networks and distributed at practitioner workshops. We developed an email interview as a route for interested people to respond to the project on-line..

Databases

We developed an Access database customised for our needs. We used this to store details of interviewees, to track interview data, responses to the survey, to generate a mailing list and to store and retrieve transcripts.
