Furness Debating Team are through to the semi-finals

Furness Debating Team have made it through to the semi-finals of the Debating Competition

Archie Aiken-Wood, Dominic Allen, Amelia Doran and Sakarias Westerberg are representing Furness College. This competition is supported by the Lancaster Debating Society and is part of the Inter-College Competitions and Challenges.

Furness (Proposition) vs Grizedale (Opposition)

The motion is “This House Would Boycott Sporting Events in Countries with Bad Human Rights Records”.

The event will take place on Monday 18th November at 7pm in George Fox Lecture Theatre 3.

All are very welcome to come along and sit in as audience members to support our team and College.
