Staff Involvement in Graduation
Graduation reflects not just the pride we have in the academic achievements of our students but is also the culmination of the efforts of all University staff.
We encourage any and all staff to get involved in the Graduation celebration.
Graduation is managed by the Stakeholder Relations and Events Team, working closely with colleagues in Alumni and Development, Colleges, Faculties, Registry, Commerical Services, Facilities, Communications and Marketing.
Volunteer at Graduation
Graduation is a real team effort and relies on numerous staff from across the University to come together to deliver Graduation.
There are lots of different roles with over 100 staff helping during graduation.
Contact Christine Phillips, Events Manager (Graduation) for more information.
Recruitment for Graduation will start 2-3 months before the ceremony
Show your support for our graduating students by taking part in the academic procession.
All colleagues (academic and professional services) who wish to attend graduation ceremonies can join the academic procession.
Robes will be hired free of charge. A plain black bachelor gown will be hired for non-degree holders.
To ensure we can hire the correct academic dress, register to be part of the Academic Procession by Friday 12 June for the 2020 Summer ceremonies.
