Furness students can donate unwanted items in the big blue container located at the end of Pendle Avenue. Please read through the guidance below before taking your items to the container. This will be open from NOW until mid-September. There are various donation points across campus that you can also use.

You can donate:

• Clothing
• Bedding
• Kitchenware
• Sealed non-perishable food, packets or tins
• Books
• Stationery
• Electrical items
• Household items such as coat hangers or décor

You cannot donate:

• Open food packets
• Open bathroom products
• Items in poor condition
• General waste
• Recyclable waste

When moving back in next term make sure you can check out our EcoShop during Welcome Week where you can buy preloved goods and contribute to creating a circular economy at Lancaster University!
