Tom’s research is focused on the application of econometric methods to answer causal questions relating to either policy or the predictions of economic theory. He is interested in health behaviours - especially addictive behaviours and also in the impact of population ageing, chronic diseases such as type 2 diabetes and the use of incentives in public policy.
