Registration to attend the conference
Everyone who intends to come to the conference must formally register by completing the Conference Registration form, available from the link below.
Registration is essential to ensure you receive the conference programme and timetable, the platform link, and details of your own institutional arrangements. If you are accepted as an undergraduate student conference presenter, or are part of the student support team your registration is automatic.
Registration to attend the 2023 UG Research Conference will open when we have details later this year.
1) We adopt a zero tolerance approach to bullying, harassment, and sexual misconduct. Any instance will be investigated and where necessary, disciplinary sanctions used, so that our staff, students, and visitors can enjoy an environment (physically and online) where everyone is treated with dignity and respect. We will follow the Lancaster University Bullying harassment and sexual misconduct policy found on the website.
2) Many parts of this conference will be recorded and there will be opportunities for posting comments and feedback. By registering and coming along to the conference you are acknowledging you are aware of this and are agreeing to be recorded and that this and comments posted online may be used in future as part of University marketing.
3) Privacy Notice. The UG Conference supports and adheres to Lancaster University Student Privacy Notice.
When you register for the conference we collect personal information from you such as your university contact details, your institution and department of study. We will use this information for conference administration and the statistics derived from it for marketing and publicity. We do not and will not share or sell any of your personal information to anyone outside of Lancaster University including third parties, unless required to do so by law. Your information will be securely stored within Lancaster University’s systems and will be retained for 1 year. You have certain rights regarding your own personal data, please refer to the Student Privacy Notice and the Rights of the Data Subject webpage for further details. It is your responsibility to make yourself aware of and understand the Privacy Notice.
