Thesis Outline
My thesis examines spaces of resistance and transgression in francophone urban literature particularly in the works of Faiza Guene, Rachid Santaki and Rachid Djaidani. It argues that the sons and the daughters of North African background/origin can articulate and/or contest the public order of space.
