French author François Bon begins his one-week residency at DeLC and the Authors and the World research hub on 24th October.
The author of numerous novels, François first published in the 1980s and created his first literary website as early as 1999. Since 2005, he has concentrated his activity on his now all-ecompassing virtual workshop www.tierslivre.net and most recently on his one-man publishing outfit ‘Tiers Livre Editeur’. He is also a keen translator from English, currently working on H.P. Lovecraft’s texts.
We are delighted to welcome him for the first time in Lancaster, where he will be giving creative writing workshops in French, a talk about translation and being translated on Tuesday 25 October, and will participate in a workshop on the digital and the literary on Friday 28.
His stay was made possible by Erika Fülöp’s Early Career Internal Grant (awarded by Lancaster University) and by the financial support of the Institut français du Royaume-Uni.
