15 February 2016

This one-day event on Friday 22 April 2016 will begin with a postgraduate workshop, followed by a networking lunch with employers and translation professionals, and a small exhibition. In the afternoon, Marta Dziurosz (Translator in Residence at the London Free Word Centre) will lead a Translation Masterclass and the day will culminate in a careers workshop.

‘Translation Lancaster’ is open to postgraduate students of translation, early career researchers and translation professionals, as well as undergraduates interested in pursuing translation as a career. It offers a valuable development and networking opportunity for students and translation professionals.

There is no fee to participate, but delegates must register in advance by contacting the organiser Charlotte Baker.

A small number of travel bursaries are available, with priority given to undergraduate and postgraduate students travelling from outside Lancaster.
