Applicant Visit and Open Days
We regularly hold visit and open days that offer an opportunity to find out more about our department and degrees, meet our staff and students, and get a feeling for the university community and campus.
Departmental Visit Days
These provide an opportunity for undergraduate applicants interested in law and/or criminology to get a more intensive look at what our department is like. They include presentations on what you will study with us, discussions with current students about their experiences on the courses, information about finances and student support, as well as tours of campus facilities and accommodations.
- We have several visit days each year between January and March. Applicants are invited as part of the application process, but anyone is welcome to come along. Please email us to register for your place.
University Undergraduate Open Days
These provide an opportunity for applicants to tour campus teaching, accommodation and leisure facilities, meet current students, and speak to our admissions teams about undergraduate courses. Learn more about university undergraduate open days, including dates in the upcoming year.
University Postgraduate Open Days
These provide an opportunity for LLM, MA, MSc and PhD applicants to tour campus, see our accommodations, and meet members of our admissions teams to ask questions about studying at Lancaster. Learn more about university postgraduate open days, including dates for the upcoming year.
You can also book a place on one of our Campus Tours, which run throughout the year and sometimes include a short ‘drop in’ to our Department.
Informal Visits and Conversations
Those who can’t visit the university in person can also email us to arrange an opportunity to speak directly with a student or staff member about course content, university life, or anything else. Please contact the appropriate degree team.
