What’s on this term?
English for Academic Writing Workshop Series
These weekly workshops are particularly useful for students whose first language is not English. They are open to both undergraduates and postgraduate students. The workshops cover topics such as working with source material, writing effective paragraphs and developing your writing style.
Registration is required, and can be accessed from the Workshops tab above, or via the English language development Moodle.
All of the workshops are stand-alone, so you can sign up for the ones that are most relevant to you.
One-to-one English Language Advice for Academic Writing
To discuss your use of English in your academic writing, sign up for a one-to-one with the Learning Developer for English for Academic Purposes (EAP). Bring along a section of your writing to discuss. The consultations are up to 40 minutes long, and take place in the Learning Zone, Pod 3.
