Booking a Pod

There are five bookable pods in the Learning Zone offering a range of interactive technology and different styles of furniture. These pods are ideal for collaborative work or practising presentations. 

Pods 5-9 are available for student booking. 

Learning Zone pods are especially popular during term time. Please follow the guidance below to help ensure fair access for both you and your fellow students.

  • Bookable by: Students only, with a current Lancaster e mail address
  • Bookable for: 3 hours per day, 9 hours per week
  • Booking ahead: Up to 1 month in advance

Please turn up on time. The pod will be considered free to use by other students if you do not turn up within 10 minutes of the booking’s start time.

Book a Pod

Pods 1-4 are used by the Library, ISS and the Enterprise Centre for a range of workshops and drop-ins. These pods are not available for student booking but can be used when events are not taking place.

Please see the signage in the Learning Zone for details of when these pods are available for general use. 

Alternative group study space is available in the Library.
