Experts from Prof Mike Berners-Lee's Small World Consulting explore the systemic changes we need to make as a society, as well as the actions we can take as individuals, in the fight against climate change. Hosted by Lunesdale Rotary Club.

“How can I help to create the conditions under which the world that I want to see becomes possible?” Professor Mike Berners-Lee asked in his book There Is No Planet B: A Handbook for the Make or Break Years.

Now many of us are asking the same question.

In this evening of brief presentations and extensive discussion, members of Mike’s Small World Consulting team will lead us in an exploration of the many possible answers.

Booking is essential for this COP26 at Lancaster Festival event, hosted by Lunesdale Rotary Club in collaboration with Lancaster Environment Centre. Refreshments will be available to purchase from the venue’s bar.

This event is part of the COP26@ Lancaster University Festival, which aims to spark debate and showcase our leading specialists and research relating to climate change in the run-up to the United Nation’s COP26 in Glasgow. The week-long COP26@ Lancaster University Festival takes place from Wednesday 20th October to Wednesday 27th October 2021.
