Event Details

This 1-hour event aims to grow understanding and connectivity in the area of Circular Solutions. Hosted by the Centre for Global Eco-Innovation, this event is relevant for university researcher staff and students, academics and professional staff interested in our research and innovation themes.

This event will involve lightning talks, networking, and interactive elements aiming to grow understanding and connectivity in the area of Circular Solutions. The market for circular innovations where waste is designed out and materials are kept in use for longer grows with the rising need for tackling climate change, reducing environmental harms and alleviating resource constraints. Re-thinking how we design, manufacture, share, reuse, recycle and repurpose resources and products is essential to securing a sustainable future. It also offers opportunities for resource-use efficiency savings, future-proofing against future regulation and entering new markets.

Speakers include:

  • Carlos Lopez-Galviz, Insititute for Social Futures
  • Alison Stowell, Organisation Work & Technology
  • Kirk Semple, Lancaster Environment Centre
