A showcase of business/university collaboration aiming to deliver low carbon innovations.

Colleagues are invited to join a showcase event, ‘Journeys to Net Zero: Collaboration Showcase’. This will bring together Eco-I NW business partners, academics and researchers to celebrate their ground-breaking collaborative R&D projects. This will be a thought-provoking event linking innovation, ideas and expertise across low carbon themes. The Keynote Speaker is Michael Pawlyn, who was instrumental in the design of the Eden Project.

The Centre for Global Eco-Innovation is a Research Centre based in the Faculty of Science and Technology, which brings together diverse research expertise at Lancaster University in partnership with businesses and organisations locally, nationally and internationally to facilitate transformative eco-innovation.

The Centre leads the Eco-I North West Partnership (Eco-I NW), a £14m research and development support project for businesses across England's North West, part funded by the European Regional Development Fund. Partners include the University of Cumbria, Liverpool John Moores University, the University of Liverpool, the University of Chester, the University of Central Lancashire and the Centre for Ecology and Hydrology.
