Why is ethical review needed? What value will it add to me research protocol? What steps do I need to take to gain ethical approval?
Why is ethical review needed? What value will it add to me research protocol? What steps do I need to take to gain ethical approval?
This workshop will explore these questions, and consider what constitutes emeplary research conduct and research integrity, with emphasis on Lancaster's commitment to high quality research. We will explore this in the context of the continually evolving ethical, legal and professional frameworks and key processes which are relevant when applying for ethical approval.
This is an opportunity to meet your Faculty Ethics Office and begin to embed ethics in the research development process.
Workshop delivered by: BEcky Case, Research Ethics Office and Dr Trevor Crawford, FST Research Ethics Committee Chair
