Visit one of the most important biodiversity hotspots in Europe and explore the diverse habitat. Learn about the role that National Parks play and what other actions can be taken to promote conservation. The course explores the diversity of habitat and organisms living in the area and the actions that can be taken to promote the conservation of biodiversity.

The area is home to over 1500 species of plants, 400 species of birds and 50 species of terrestrial mammals, and you will gain practical experience of identification and recording of flora and fauna.

Please note, this field course is a core module for students studying Ecology & Conservation but optional for those studying Biology.
